Namaste. Stuff your wallet with a lot of money and head for England. Most of the circuits there have racing schools. From there you can usually buy a ride with a Formula Ford team, then a Formula 2000 or Formula Renault outfit.
At this stage it will be obvious whether or not you have talent and if you do, and if you still have lots and lots of Rupees a British or European Formula Three team will put you in a car and you might even advance to GP2 and, at the same time snag a job as a test driver with an F1 team. If you've won a championship along the way (F3 or Formula Renault), the FIA will grant you a Super License and if you still have lots of Rupees you might become an F1 driver.
There are other ways of becoming an F1 driver, but this is the route many take.
Remember, there are only 22 F1 drivers (24 in 2008) and a handful of test drivers, so your chances of making it all the way aren't great.

Racing is just like any other professional sport. You start at the bottom and work your way up. The bottom for racing is karts. Find the kart track closest to where you live and get involved. As you become a better driver, you will begin to understand the more about the racing world and what it takes to be successful enough to get to Formula 1. Get into racing karts, it's fun and comparatively cheap. This is, far and away, the most practical way to start in racing. From there, the sky's the limit.

You have to be very young to start this career. You should qualify some national level karting competition. Here you are on your own nobody will sponsor for you will have to spend some thousands buck, some time even some lakhs of them. Then you should qualify and the British F3. Then for the next level you have options like F2 racing, Renault World Series and GP2 series. Then if you are lucky enough to get into Formula One you will have to work for a team as a test driver. Narian was very luck indeed everybody cannot get a chance like that.
Then if you impress the boss of the particular boss of the team you are working for and if there are any drivers leaving the team, then you can grab the opportunity to work as a pay driver. Here you have to pay for the team for working there. You can get a little for yourself for the sponsorships. Same like Narian did in Jordan last year.
Then they may promote you as a professional driver.

Don't listen to Jackie, Stirling, Niki or most others. I thought they lost the plot when they started rambling about how great Lewis is after a few races. I won't even repeat some of the praise they heaped on him. If you put someone on that pedestal and they struggle even temporarily, look out for falling rubble! In fairness to the Massa critics, they weren't exactly quiet last year. Many people, including Ferrari fans, think he is not up to the job and has no business in a Ferrari. The anti-Massa chorus didn't just start up after Malaysia. They have been crucifying his errors for a long time.

If you aren't already racing cars, the odds are completely against you, but Boris Said accomplished it, so we'll give you a shot. I don't now where you live, but look into Skip Barber Racing School, Bob Bondurant, or Jim Russell. These are excellent places to get started in racing and move up into a career. Bring lots of cash. It takes cubic inches of money to make it work.

I would start reading all about cars, and start racing. Hell you can even race go karts and end up making it. Also video games can help, do you realize how many NASCAR/F1/Indy drivers use video games to help them, and I dont mean video games on your Playstation you need a PC Sim Racing game to help you learn how to adjust a car and race certain tracks.
