Well I have naturel curly hair also and it took me a long time to manage it. I tried every product inbetween. Panten to herbel essence to suave. Suave is what I use and its not so exp. I switched from gel to moose back to gel etc. I always have to have hairspray. Now, as it's wet I put a cosiderable amount of moose in it, then I'll switch from side to side to put the hairspray in. Then I'll flip my hair upside down to ONLY blowdry my bangs. Fix your bangs and srunch your hair and apply more hairspray. Then you have to let your hair dry on it's own. Practice will help along the way. Do your hair in plenty of time before an event just in case. or maybe you need a frizz-ease product. So, I'd just put in moose or gel, whichever is best for you, and hairsray after that. You'll get it. Good luck. ...L.

I have long curly (spiral ringlets, not tight frizzy curls) hair that's very thick.
I use Pantene 2 in 1 shampoo for Curls every day. I also use Pantene deep conditioner once a week.
I wrap my washed hair in a towel to soak up the moisture. Then I spray on a leave in conditioner (Infusium) as I have long hair. It help detangle and prevents curls from catching in the comb and tearning out. I use a very wide tooth comb. Then I use Pantene Gel for Curls on my damp hair.
I use a hair dryer with a diffuser -- on low setting, to dry my hair just a bit. It's still slightly damp when I finish.
I have a wide-barrel curling iron that I use just on the tips of my hair to control the frizz potential. A quick turn with the curling iron and release. I use my hands to put the pieces in place and use a tiny spritz of hair spray to set the style. That's it.

i have had the same problem. I have curly hair too, but now i use Gel after washing it.
You can buy a gel that gives a Wet effect, L'oreal gel is very good, and after washing your hair, put some gel on you hands and try to cover all your hair with.
It will not give a totaly wet effect , but each curl will remain perfect.
Good luck, hope you will find you new look.

I have curly hair too.
So if you straighten it everyday, it shouldn't matter too much if you let it dry naturally.
For neatness, towel dry it as best you can, shake your head around... going outside while its drying.. not such a good idea, that will most likely make it not so neat.
Hope this helped =D

Wear it curly.
When you sleep wear your hair up. In the mornings mist your hair with water and let it curl up more. Just long curly hair is pretty. Gel works good. It's better then having straight hair.

I like curly hair. An old GF had natural curl. I loved it, but when she combed it out straight, it was really wild and HOT!

curling youe hair everyday is a bad idea... its not very good for your hair (makes it dry and gives split ends).. use a shampoo for curls and let them run free....
