What does it matter is the real question. If he is gay does that mean you won't hang out with him? Does that mean he is not the same person you thought he was. I don't see that it should make a difference if he is gay or not, as long as he is a good person and treats you right.

Does it matter? Will it make a difference in your friendship? Does he know he is, why would you think he was - or are you just speculating. If you confront him - he may get angry with you. If he is gay, and you are a true friend, he will let you know in time... be supportive, as I'm sure you'd like him to be towards you if he thought you were a lesbian.

umm if he's gay...what does it matter to you? will you stop being his friend if he's gay? just flat out ask him...unless you are doing it to be hurtful and to criticize his behaviour then leave him be. If you asking just to let him know that it's ok and you think it's nothing for him to be ashamed of ...then go ahead and ask him. Just make sure you let it be known you aren't gonna look down on him for that.

He'll tell you when he's ready. It takes alot of courage to tell someone for the first time. Just keep supporting him and being his friend, it'll come out eventually.

Why is it any of your business? Maybe you should put as much effort into learning the english language as you do into finding out who people like to have sex with.

for one, dont say someone is 'a gay'. a person 'is gay". if he's your friend, and you've been a good friend to him, he will eventually trust you enough to talk about it. what gender he prefers romantically is really only his business and shouldn't have any bearing on your friendship. good luck and good friendships!

Why do you find it necessary to confirm anything? What difference would it make to your friendship?
