we dont have a petstore local and so i was wondering if there were any good places to buy off the internet? preferably in minnesota.

hi,

I used to breed show quality bettas and plakads. Bettas hit a huge high a few years ago with Halfmoon pairs going for $150-$300.

Of course you can get some for $5 but if you are into breeding and genetics...you'll want to invest the money.

A good place to check out is Aquabid.com then under bettas.

Look up Tropical Fish Distributors on the internet and get their phone number or email address. They are a wholesale outfit here in the Cleveland area.

They have a large selection of crowntails, halfmoons, doubletails and standards. They will ship FOB to you, I think.

u can get betta fish at wal-mart. u can buy them over the internet but there is no guarentee that it will survive the trip.

most local pet stores can order them for you if they dont carry them.
