The former chairman of Punjab public service commission and a few of his colleagues collected from 20 to 50 lakhs of rupees from each candidate appearing for direct recruitment of posts like D.S.P., Ditrict treasury officer, Block development officers,Social welfare officers etc to give results in their favor.Now many such"officers" are running the state.. The money was hidden in bank lockers..
