If I use BLOCK SENDER on hotmail, will they send a notification to sender that their address has been blocked?

I have been receiving unwanted emails and am going to put the email address on my block sender list. But would like to know if they are going to receive a message that this address has been blocked. Maybe then they'll get the hint that I'm not interested in any communication with them.

Yes, they will receive a notice that the message were not sent due to some reasons depending on the message that Hotmail will send to the person.
