How much of what you believe has been taught to you? How much of what you believe have you reasoned for yourself to be true? Have you proved to yourself through logical reasoning that things you believe in are in fact true? How often do you get a piece of information that you except as fact with no further investigation?

I generally rely on scientific proof or physical evidence. Blind faith is not part of my vocabulary. We have the ability to reason. We have the ability to be skeptical. In the United States we have the right to challenge and demand proof. Sometimes, we have to accept what we are told, at least temporarily, as in the news of the day, until such news can be verified or denied.
As to your final question, I think it depends on what the information is and how important it is in my life.
Great question.

Well, I believe on what have been taughed to me since I was a child. sometimes on what I have learned by myself at School, High School and University. Next I have learned from my own experience of life. I have a mix of all the above. I had to change some believes, too. It is a great and amusing experience.

concept does not make something genuine. in case you gave your fiance a cubic zirconium ring somewhat of a diamond ring yet instructed her it became a diamond ring she might have self belief it to be a diamond ring (if she did no longer seem to heavily). This does not magically replace the stone from zirconium to a diamond. it would nonetheless have all the residences of zirconium. Morality is distinctive. Societies morals replace counting on the time and site a guy or woman is in. A one hundred fifty years in the past a 40 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous guy marring a 13 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous female became no longer seen immoral yet in maximum areas of the international in the present day it particularly is. in spite of the shown fact that for the period of different worldwide places in the present day it somewhat is not any longer seen as immoral. As for the persons thought technique, i might might desire to declare it particularly is improper. on condition that at one time maximum folk interior the international didnt have self belief interior the Christian god, his logic might end that the Christian god doesnt exist or that maximum Christians seen something of the international as stupid and uneducated.

What make things true is that we believe them to be true. Most of what I believe has been tought to me and it is true (to me) We all know that grass is green and the sky is blue, but our own personal beliefs are true in our hearts. For instance, God is very real to those who believe. For some people, the voices in their heads are real. We each live in our own reality. We each believe in our own morals and our own values. That's why wars are being fought, over our difference of beliefs.

I know I have a bad habit of believing most things I hear. So mostly I don't know what I believe in, I'm still on a journey to see where I end up.

At young age we blindly believe in many things, but with respect to age and maturity we will come to know about the realities of life. During that adult stage it is very difficult to follow everything blindly because of circumstances .

any belief that you have not struggled with, argued about, rolled around and kicked and torn apart in your head is not strong enough to be considered a belief. if you haven't questioned it from every angle and sought to break it down , then you haven't believed it.

but in the end, nothing will make what you believe true. you will only create your own reality.

I only believe 1/2 of what I see, none of what I hear,

i have simple child like faith..
faith is the substance of things hoped for and the EVIDENCE of things not yet seen..
so i pretty much will beleive anything the bible says...quite literally..and anything my five senses can back up..
people do need to make their own independant investigation of the truth....but seeing as im only here on this planet for a short time..ill just take Christ and his truths..

No one says they are true but if there true to you they will be until you prove otherwise. We control what we want to believe or not to believe
