This is a good point . It would seem if one ask a direct question, many in this arena will attack you . If your question does not fit into their belief . When they should thank you for making them think . If you can get your point to them without lowering yourself to the mentality of the person asking the question . You will achieve the ultimate victory . Do be tolerant however ! The person asking the question may be at their mental overload just asking the question :) LOL

You must consider the source. If the questions are racist, stupid or inflammatory you as the answerer simply must assume the individual is ignorant, mentally deficient or simply seeking attention. Keeping things in perspective allows you to answer an irrational or otherwise questionable inquiry in a civilized and intelligent fashion.

Because they are usually making a statement and not asking a question. They only want to hear answers that conform to their point of view and support their position.

i always try to remember that racism, hatred and violent behavior are all the result of a deep fear complex, and that the people saying things to stir up everyone's emotions are really hiding behind their little computer screens, screaming for attention. if they really felt so strongly about the issues, they'd be DOING something about it other than cringing behind their screens and keyboards, typing in little hate-filled messages that don't amount to squat. not even squat. sub-squat. just remember hun, little bitty minds make immature thoughts. they really know not what they do.

Just because they ask doesn't mean you have to comply. Some questions are so annoying that I cannot resist the urge to be a smart ***. Some people really need to know that they are fairly stupid and need a wake up call.

because they don't know any better. they are just repeating what they have been told, and don't know that they can figure anything out for themselves. they deserve our honest answers. maybe they will pick up on something other than hate. people need to know that they can think freely, but without input from other free thinkers, they're just kind of stuck in what they are led to believe.
