I assume it's because the majority of our bodies are composed of water, but I'm not to sure.

Anyone care to shed some light on the subject?

I don't like rain. I live in this beautiful island paradise and it hardly ever rains. When it does, it's ok, it keeps things green and clean, but I hate it. Love the sun, and warm, and the beach.... yeah. Oh, I live in IBIZA. And YES it rocks! Summer it's all parties and stuff. Winter is beautiful, very quiet and sunny.

For me, I love the rain because it's calming to me. I've also been out in the rain because that's how much I love rain. For others it may be an opposite effect.

Cause After a hot summer its time to chill out, and rains is the best option to chill out. It is also the best time to have sexual relationship with ur wife or girlfriend.

I only like rain when I don't have to walk in it and I can stay inside, under a blanket watching a horror movie.

Some do and some don't. Same reason some people enjoy snow, fire, or any other thing. There is no underlying psychological reason. It's simple individual preference.

It has acalming effect on me,esp if its hitting a tin roof.Also maybe it makes us feel like things are being cleansed and renewed.

I think it is a form of cleansing - It is washing away the badness and giving us a new clean start.
