Please don't be embarrassed about being uncircumcised. All of the above you mentioned is completely untrue. Circumcision is a completely unnecessary mutilation of your body. I can assure you as a 32-year old that women seem to prefer the "candy in the wrapper" (or turtle-neck sweater), if you know what I mean! To them, it's nicer to look at and actually a novelty! Are you given a hard time in school about this, in the P.E. changing rooms? First of all, tell the "queer" who's checking out your package that you're not gay and therefore not interested. Also ask those idiots why their parents chose to mutilate their penis? Ask them if they're Jewish? (It's a Jewish birth tradition. No-one can become a Jew unless they're circumcised.) Or if they don't wash often enough and therefore had to have it done in order to prevent infection? Be proud of your unaltered package! The ladies will love it, I promise. They'll be very curious about how that flap of skin moves back and forth and how it's attached, etc. Good luck!

First, in the UK you cannot have this done without your parent's permission.
Second, the only people circumcised in the UK are those that must be circumcised for their religion (Muslims and Jews).
Third, a circumcised penis is no cleaner than an uncircumcised one - the people that keep bringing this point up must have really bad hygiene, because it seems they don't wash their penis when they shower or bathe!
Fourth, there is no evidence circumcision will stop the transmission of STDs or HIV.
What WILL happen is that the glans (head of the penis) will be permanently exposed. The body reacts by growing a layer of keratin (thicker skin) over the head of the penis, making it slightly less sensitive.
In addition, the foreskin is mucous membrane; it is covered with many nerve endings that give you pleasure during sex. These will be permanently lost.
Without a foreskin, you will need to use a personal lubricant to masturbate. If the circumcision is too tight, then yes, it can affect the length of the penis; but this would only happen if the surgery is botched.
At 14, this is a painful and unnecessary surgery. You will need to take drugs for the first week or so to prevent you from getting erections, which would of course pull out the stitches and prevent proper healing.
Your parents would be foolish to allow it; but if you still think you want to do it, you must ask them first.

I'm circumcised but I wish I was given the choice about having the procedure done (had it when i was a baby). You will lose a LOT of nerve endings and that could lessen your potential for enjoying sex. Men who are circumcised at a very young age have no basis for comparison because being circumcised is all they know but from what friends who have had it done later in life tell me, the sensations are lessened by circumcision. Also, don't let the people who bring up hygiene and cancer risks scare you. The only time it's an issue is if you get smegma from not cleaning it regularly. And the cancer risk is low otherwise, whole countries where circumcision is not generally practiced would have had cancer by now.
Is it done in the UK? Certainly. But I imagine you'll need parental consent for any cosmetic surgery (non life threatening).
"Your penis doesn't seem normal to you" + "will it make my penis smaller " = dude,...if you're worried that you're too big...don't sweat it...and consider yourself lucky.
It's still your choice though. Ask your family physician about it and you might want to talk to your dad about it too.

Getting it done at any stage of life will technically decrease the sensation because there are lots of nerves in the foreskin that'll be cut away, and as time goes on the head will probably become desensitized. It shouldn't have any effect on penis size though, unless somethings goes really wrong. If you really really want to get it done, you can get it done at any age and certainly in the UK.
Christianity doesn't require or endorse circumcision, but neither is it against it. You should be careful with your decision. If you've never had any problems with your foreskin then you probably shouldn't have it done. If your foreskin is working properly and you clean underneathe it daily with water and mild soap, then the hygiene "benefit" from circumcision is a load of bull.
I'm not sure why you freaked out because you shouldn't. Around 80% of the world's male population is uncircumcised, and most guys your age in the UK are uncircumcised. Your penis is normal and you shouldn't freak out over it. If she really into you she won't care much (if at all) about its status, and most girls probably won't care as long as it's clean and you know how to use it.

1. If you are a Christian, you should be fleeing fornication. Noone should be unbuttoning your jeans but you.
2. If you are a Christian, Jesus was the blood sacrifice for your sins. Circumcision of the heart is the only circumcision God requires now. (Romans 2:29.)
3. Your penis is normal. Circumcision is unnatural.
4. Your future Christian wife should not have seen a penis until she sees yours. And it will be normal for her.

Hey, do not get circumcised! do not alter yourself over a girl!you may come to regret doing something that drastic later.its just not worth is. anyway,if she's 14 also, then she probably isnt sexually mature enough to handle anything!she should accept you the way you are. I decided when my son was born, not to have his circumcised and im happy about that decision. i did lost of research first to make sure that my decision was right. your foreskin protects you from constant rubbing of material against you, hense, your sexual sensitivity will be higher. and i also found out that males getting cut later in life have a harder time and it is quit painful.and dont believe it makes you dirty either. as long as you clean yourself correctly, then there is no problems! be proud of yourself, not what some girl that you probably will not even remember in 2 years, thinks. also, just to let you know, it is rare, but if you dont pull your foreskin back enough (pulling it back when you urinate should be enough)it may become a bit tight across the head but no problem. their is a procedure that the doc can do thats called a slit. they just do one snip to loosen it up.and anyway, what are you bringing up christian for, hello, your having pre marital sex at 14 years old, that's something christians are against too!

I know just how you feel. I got circumcised at the age of 27 and let me tell you I feel so much better about myself. First of all it does not take away from the sensation at all. In fact it makes the sensation better. And as far as the size of your penis, getting circumcised will not make it smaller at all. It will actually make it fatter and longer, and you will feel so much more better about yourself. Talk to your parents about it.

my friend you are misinformed. You are 14!! Please don't believe everything you are told.My advise to you would be to discuss it with your parents first. If you can't do that, talk to your doctor or a person in authority before you make ANY decision.Your penis will certainly NOT get smaller, but you shouldn't really be thinking of sex at all yet.Sex is something that is a wonderful thing, but its not something I think you should be concentrating on right now. There's plenty of time for sex later. In fact,I'll let you into a little secret. The older you are the better sex feels.Just tell your girlfriend that you respect her and care about her,but you want the time to be right for you both..and ask that she,in return.respects your decision to leave it a while. If she doesn't like what you say, then she may not be the right girl for you
Take care and good luck.

Circumsicion is a good idea (religiously correct too) because it reduces chances of infections. There are a lot of germs that get accumulated in that extra bit of foreskin which are a major source of infection. Plus sex gets better with circumcision, it reduces sensation to the penile tip that ends in longer lasting erection and more satisfying orgasms (to you and the woman and it'll be great to know that you're giving her such good satisfaction including yourself!). Foreskin also tends to accumulate vaginal bacteria too so overall you should seriously consider this. However it can be painful afterwards and peeing will be a bit uncomfortable for a few days but its well worth it in the end. Where I come from, male babies have it done under the age of one!

My son is also 14 and I know this an embarrasing age for you to talk about this with your parents. What you should do is tell your parent(s) you would like to, or need to have a school physical and consult with your Doctor in "private" away from Mom or Dad. Since he or she is a professional they will know how to handle this and will be able to approach your parents. This should make it easier on you. Truthfully your parents should have done this done for you when you were an infant. It would have alleviated your mental and physical pain... Good Luck to you! as far as sensitivity and size..This should NOT make a difference. As long as it is done by a qualified Surgeon!
