Hop aboard the Space Shuttle or other craft which travels above the bulk of the atmosphere. Then you'll see other stars and the sun at the same time!

No, you can't see stars, even from a deep well. The Sun's light gets scattered by our atmosphere, making the sky too bright to see the stars. If you could see stars from a deep well, astronomers would have taken advantage of that already and would build all of their telescopes underground. Instead they go to great lengths to put telescopes in space, above the atmosphere.
