Barring another 911 just before the election, isn't this scenario a certainty? Should many Republicans begin preparing to become lobbyists?

Most likely not swept but I do hope that enough of them are voted out so this Country can get back to a sense of normalcy.
They have been in charge long enough and have done nothing positive for this Country.
Unless you feel like most Conservatives and believe that War is positive.
All they have done is create a climate of hate, and they have divided this Nation like it has never been divided before.
Getting the majority back to the Democrats will be the best thing to happen in many years.
Let the conservatives b*tch all they want...their days are numbered!

I think that the majority of americans can now see plainly that the direction the republicans are taking american is the wrong path, we are now known all over the world as liars, theives, and killers. The fact is we are in a war that anyone with common sense knows is not ever going to be won. The administration that we have now has no accountablity for anything, they want to do away with our basic consitutional rights and make america a police state and anyone that goes against that is unpatroitic, they need to be swept from office before the last of american freedoms is gone.

Yes - because that is America. Just when the Republicans start to get the garbage cleaned up from the last Democratic administration, we decide we need a change. Iraq - yes, the democrats will get us all killed eventually. Gas prices - you think either one of the parties are responsible for gas prices - you are truly ignorant. Healthcare - Hillary destroyed that one permanently. Katrina - yes, the republican party is responsible for that too.
Another 911 (God forbid) would keep Reps in office because even the Dems know that a Rep administration would be the only thing to save us.

Repuglicans are the dirtiest of dirty when it becomes time to get elected, do not be surprised at a October surprise like catching or killing Osama or something. I would hope that people are smart enough to see through it and throw the bums out of Congress. We need to restore checks and balance to the system, we have one party rule right now and that is even good if you are a repuglican.

When it comes to elections the Republicans will come out with dirty tricks at election. With no record to run they will attack the candidates who arunning against the Republicnas.
