I live in Chicago and get to hear about this saga everyday. Both Benson and Jones have been banged up so far this preseason so neither one of them has secured the starting gig yet. Thomas Jones is the better back in my opinion, but bears management is pushing hard for the coaching staff to start Benson because he was a high draft choice. Right now they will probably split time, but one of them will eventually take the job. Hold on to Benson for now and see how it shakes out, or try to trade him to some stupid bears fan.
GO PACKERS!!

Not if the Bears defenders keep teeing off on him in practice. I haven't seen much from Benson that shows a potential to be a fantasy stud, and shoulder injurys can really hamper RB's (especially the power runners like Benson). I'd dump him personally.

If you have him already, you might as well keep him for a while longer. He's worth keeping - the Bears have the easiest schedule in the NFL, and they can't throw, so it's worth a spot to hold him until something is confirmed one way or another.

if you like keeping backups, then yes. there is no way that the bears bench thomas jones after the year he has last year and with the whole team behind him.

He'll end up splitting carries, but I think Jones will play more.

I would bench him and look for another rb that is actually going to play.
