i always think that i am a very unlucky person. then when things went wrong , i got very upset, it even leads to depression. i felt very helpless. i have been depressed since one year ago. it started with my job has been down-sized , and i asked for additional job portfolio , but todate it was still not given to me. How do i accept this fact & get out of my depression ?

Try volunteering for the homeless, or at a hospital or senior citizen's home. You have to remember God never give's us more than we can handle. You have to remember how lucky YOU are. I have been going through all of those things, and you know what I needed? A good kick in the ***-seriously, I was wasting my time feeling so sorry for myself and so bad, untill I looked around and said, wait a second, this is what I have made it to be, I have chosen to be miserable and I am not going to choose to be like that anymore, no matter what hold your head up, and literally, PUSH THROUGH. It sounds sappy, but it worked for me, actually everyone around me is asking, why are you in such a good mood? why have you been smiling so much? And I say, because I want to. Last resort-find a good doctor, one that doesn't make you feel bad or sorry for yourself, but that motivates you to be better, because you can be. Good luck!

first of all you have the rite to enjoy ur life. stop stressing about the job being offered to you. what are your special qualities? probably if u knw a lot more about urself there are those things u can do on your own and make a better living out of them than waiting for somebody to come and offer you a better job.

talk to friends about how they carry out their living and u will find out that u are not the only one who is struggling. stress is part of our living but u must learn how to be a master of ur feelings. dont let ur feelings deprive u from any happiness. every cloud has a silver lining, out of that depressing situation there is something good u can reap and benefit a lot. always keep ur face to the sunshine. knw that there is none like you, u are very special, no one can have the abilities that u have. even thou u face harsh times just say im special,give urself a speacial treat and stop being depressed.

try out meditation cos that's very effective,though not at initial days of starting.i too was in depression due to love but tried this i'm really satisfied with this.hope you'll to.if you dont know how to meditate then send me a instant message,i'll respond to that.hope you get better. be happy,dont woory...if you believe in god just think that Lord is just testing you,and you'll have a happy end......though i may be younger than you, but still believe my words.

go out and do something for someone else - when you are not so focused on yourself, then you can't take that time to dwell on your being depressed. Go volunteer some place and you will feel much better about yourself for doing so

ok i have the same thing very severe at times,,,so i know EXACTLY how you feel. i dont have health insurance to get help so i suffer everyday of my life with it. NOOONE understands the pain im feeling, im gong to tell you if you have health insurance get the help you need right away and talk to someone close to yu about how you are feeling. its a very serious illness and you need to get it taken care of!!!! let me know how u do!!!! michelledd382000@yahoo

just think that way, if you asked for additional job portfolio, they did not give to you, so it is not your fault you will on the internet all day long, just enjoy the day

Quit playing the victim and do something to help yourself. Talk it out with a counselor.

write down all the good things you have. i also have depression. i have a counselor and im on anti-depressants. they both help a lot
