i'm a national debator and i just wanted to know if theres any really good search engines for.... you guessed it Researching!!!! you get a gold star! but really can anybody help???

If you have the Firefox web browser (you can download it easily off the web if you don't, just google it), you can get an extension for it called Stumble Upon. It's not your typical type and search, it's more of a browsing search engine, the database comprises websites that other "stumblers" consider to be very good on any particular subject. You can browse websites on any of a large number of subjects and you can suggest new categories, it's really good and fun!

A search engine is a tool. Whether it is good or not depends on the skill of the person using it. I recommend learning the best ways to structure your queries, and choose key words for searching.
