DONT WORRY...forward it to spoof@paypal.com let them deal with it. Its only someone trying it on to get you to give personal details. If it was GENUINELY from Paypal the mail would open with Dear" "Your Own Name" and it would not have a link asking for your account details.
You will almost certainle get more like this..always forward them to the above address...never just delete them..they must be reported.

It's a scam email... DON'T fill in anything... don't click on any links inside it... don't send it, or reply... DELETE and virus scan at once... and get yourself a free download of no adware... a tool that finds and destroys any malicious adware on your computer that can change your settings and find your pass codes etc!
None of your emails should ask for information about you accounts with anyone... and if they do, they are not genuine... your bank will never ask by email, neither will paypal... or any other online provider of services... this necessary detail is asked when you sign up and only happens again... if you need to change your details, or when you log in to your personal account direct from their homepage!
Don't go there until you've flushed this interloper out of your hard drive.
Go here first:
http://www.noadware.net/?hop=americlick
Then virus scan... then, clear your cache of downloaded web pages... before you do anything else online!

Never give any bank details in any email. Contact Paypal and check with them the status of your account etc. It sounds like a scam to me.

it could be legit...but do not i repeat do not click the link in the email. First just go and close the email
open a new browser window, and than go to http://paypal.com
and see if the account is locked. If it isnt locked, the emails a hoax to trick you into going to a site that looks liek paypal and they want you to login to what you think is paypal, but all it is is a scam site to record your username and passowrd so they can steal your money. It's called phishing. But do not click the link in the email just type in paypal.com and check that way. And either way delete the email.
here is a link that has the definition of what phishing is...

I believe it is a scam. When you get something like this, don't click on the link in the email, type in paypal.com in your browser window to go to the paypal site. Then once you know you are in paypal, check to see if you have access.

It's "Phishing". Under no circumstances give out bank details - PayPal do not ask for that by email. Forward the email to them.

It may be a hoax and do not not fill the form until you have talked to your provider. These may be hackers ready to clean you out. So take them serious but do not provide any information. PayPal would have contacted you through another way rather than email.

Report it right now to paypal. spoof@paypal.com Do it now. Do not click on a link or fill out anything. And in the future remember that if you get something from paypal, they will address you by your first and last name. It won't say dear paypal customer or dear valued paypal user. Beware.

I've gotten this same e-mail. I don't have a PayPal account and never had one. This is a scam to try to get you to give up personal information. Have you ever applied to PayPal or have you used it. If not this is a scam.
