for the most part- yes. Why? Because in 1993 when my daughter was born, I was thinking about what the styles would be when she started going to high school and I thought to myself- gads- what if it's back to the 80's style? OH please- not the neons, the big shoulder pads(and those foofy, puffy sleeves on the prom dresses), stir-ups and the CFM shoes and fake pearls! I remember all of those Madonna wannabees and-oh let's not forget that laquered hair - I went through so many cans of aquanet! Let's hope it's more like the levi's, parachute pants (NOT MC Hammer- Vince Neil style). I thought about it some more and since the 70's were quasi-coming back not long ago, I felt certain that the 80's would, too. Let's just hope that with the 2000's flare, it will look better! and please no leg warmers!
What I liked about the 80's style was the punk looks and some of the rocker atire- by this I mean the levi's and converse- not much into big hair anymore- however I like the Cure and Duran Duran's hair not to mention Siouxie and the Banshees and Adam Ant's style, too- I guess it just depends on how it looks for that individual's style. I think for the most part, it will be fun. I also never could understand why so many guys at my school had mullets. I never did like that- and each time I saw their hair I would just look at the short front and wish it would catch up to the back!
I'm not sure if much of this makes sense as I just woke up and haven't had my coffee yet. time to go and get some now!

Let me get through 2006 before thinking about 2007.
No one knows how long anyone is going to live.
For example, my lifetime partner just past away this year.
No, because the 80s style wasn't as cool as the 90s style.
The 80s style is very similar nowaday, and I don't notice any difference unless you are trying to dress up like a punk.

yes, i think it is going towards the 80's. The music is coming back...i am hearing popular songs that sound like garage or alternative rock from the 80's. The style is totally coming back as are the drugs coming back (acid is coming back as ecstasy is being laced with meth).
Everything comes in cycles and now it is the 80's.

That 80's style came back in 2001, if not earlier. It was fun, but to answer your question I will have to say a big NO because that's just old already, old x 2!

NO...somethings might come back in fashion here and there (like bell bottoms from the 70's)...but i don't think we will ever see the 80 fashions make a complete comeback
in short i don't think i am going to bust out my Michal Jackson beat it jacket and parachute pants any time soon
