Monday mornings suck anyways, but on top of that. I feel like crap. I want to crawl into a whole and die, well not actually die. you know what I mean. I am having my first signs of morning sickness, im tired, cranky, and terribly sad. My boss has really bad mood swings, so she is cranky this morning, she said something to me in the wrong tone and im holding back tears. I feel like a baby. Im coming off of anti depressants and i have quit smoking, i think thats making it hard too, I know that it could be so much worse. I am so angry with everything, im afraid I am going to go off or cry in front of the wrong person. I feel like I have lost control over my emotions. Not to mention my face is breaking out and I know I look terrible. No smart *** comments please, I know Im not the only who feels this way. I was hoping someone would having some pick me up tips, I would just like to make it through the day! Any advice??????

Wow... reading that was like reading about my own pregnancy issues 20 weeks ago. I too had quit smoking and was coming off of anxiety medication... and I was finding every day stress hard to deal with... feeling sad and crying over simple things.. feeling insecure because my skin looked a mess! Feeling sick all day..
It is awful, I know that much..
But no matter what... just remember it is all getting you steps closer to to holding that beautiful baby in your arms... Just close your eyes and imagine the good days that are going to come.. Soon you will get to feel him or her moving inside of you, and the bad things will seem to fade. It will all be worth it in no time.. Everyone carrying a baby goes through the sadness.. it's okay.. I am 6 months and still cry for pointless reasons..
As far as the nausea... I have a huge bag of peppermints at my desk that I suck on.. The really help with the nausea and the metallic taste in my mouth..
I hope you get to feeling better..
Congrats on the baby and good for you for quitting smoking.. That is very admirable and you should be proud of yourself.

Well the day I found out I was pregnant was the day that my Aunt died, very sudden! I was full of emotions and I had to return to work that monday! I hated life. I am only 20 and my bf wanted me to have an abortion and I wouldn't. I thought I would be pregnant and alone! But I held myself together and just kept thinking postively. Morning sickness sucks...I know, but it will get better in a month or 2. For now try to eat in the morning something light liek fruit or something. Stay away from Dairy for a little while also cause I could never hold that down. Keep some crackers or something at your desk to munch on a drink lots of water. You will be fine! I am 6 months now, super excited and so is the boyfriend that wanted me to abort. Like I said things aren't always as bad as they seem. I had to quit smoking too and it sucks I know. I didn't quit though until I was farther along. I cut back but I wish I couldv'e quit altogether at first. So congrats to you and good job! You'll feel better about it in the long run. Anyways try not to get upset cause the baby can feel it. Stay positive and do what makes you happy. You will do great!

Im so sorry, I had a lot of depression, I was really looking forward to pregnancy, and I was sick the entire time! Get some lollypops, or hard candies and suck on them, it helps a lot. They have pregnancy lollypops at most maternity and baby places. They help ease the stomach a lot! Stay upbeat by doing normal things (well that wont hurt the baby), u know, go out with friends and stuff. Go shopping and get something that is flattering, I got some ugly clothes and it made me feel so bad. do your makeup and hair and wear the pregnancy like a really nice pair of shoes, show it off. Just do whatever you can to make yourself feel sexy, and remind yourself what you are going through all of this for. Its ok to cry, you have an excuse. FInally eat healthy, not for 2, youll feel healthier. GOOD LUCK!

Step one- RELAX. You are definitely not alone, and these symptoms should die down in a couple months. After u reach 3 months, you should start feeling better. Work was the pits for me too- my boss was a mega asshole. I actually broke down and cried in the bathroom once because I was so emotional. When you wake up in the morning, eat crackers, or something light. Also, exercise seemed to help for me. Taking a little time out of my day for myself felt refreshing. Just take a walk around the block or something. Drink a lot of water and just calm down- everything will be ok, it just takes time. Good luck, and I'll say a little prayer for you, maybe that will help :)

It does get better! Just think of that beautiful life that is growing inside you, that will make the next 3 months fly by and with it the morning sickness and acne. Women are stronger than we give ourselves credit for we can do anything we put our minds to.
If you are able go for a short walk around your building to help clear your head and get some fresh air.
If you start feeling queasy use mental focusing for 3-5 minutes. Picture a calm place in your mind and work on breathing. It will help!
You will be fine. If your morning sickness gets bad talk to your doctor there are medications they can give you to help. Good luck and best wishes darlin'!

Over the last five years I had begun to have increasingly withdraw into a downward spiral of depression..
But now with the method I can fully focus my energy and thoughts into a decisive line on how to make my life better constantly. And it works like magic! I'm beginning to attract people to me once again and things have just been looking up since then.

I'm in a similar situation. I feel like I have to drag myself into work. Your feelings are normal. My advice is to drink Gatorade or Powerade, these help with fatigue. Make sure you eat well (fruits and veggies) and frequent small meals/snack help too. Don't feel bad if your emotions are strong, it's just the hormones.
I've heard it gets better for most women after 3 months (12 weeks or so), but I'm still waiting, I'm 10 weeks. Congrats and know that you're not the only one!

Try lifesavers at work, the pineapple ones really stopped my morning sickness. Stop fighting the moodiness and roll with it. I cried at work several times over things like not being able to find a number. Just laugh at yourself. It takes so much energy to fight it- you'll wear yourself out and feel worse. Only 33 weeks left. This too shall pass.

My wife suffered terrible morning sickness. After reading an article in Parenting magazine about oither mothers having such problems, and as a last resort they tried smoking pot (marijuana), she tried it and it worked miracles! You know pot is good for chemotherapy patients because it combats nausea and increases appetite? (That's why Californians can get a prescription for pot from their doctors and the state has legalized this.) Well, the same holds true for morning sickness apparently! If you do decide to try it, I recommend you look for a vaporizer for it instead of smoking it. (Aromazap is good.) Smoking pot is almost as noxious as cigarette smoking. Vaporizing it releases the active ingredients with 400 degree F hot air without exposing you to the many compounds released when the plant is burned. On top of that, it'll put a nice smile on your face that might make your boss change her tune. :-)
