it takes more than just clearing history
which is what most people think is the solution
do the following and you will have no worries
open your browser
click tools up top
click internet options
click clear history
change the days to keep history to 0
click delete files
now click the content tab
click auto complete
click clear forms
then where it says use autocomplete for uncheck all the things you dont want your browser to store.
that way you wont have to keep going back and clearing things out. good luck

Answer by Ryan M is almost the point. A tiny ammendment though, apart from deleting cookies and clearing the histories, to clear the search engine and address list caches, you could go to Tools --> Internet Options --> Contents(tab) --> Auto Complete --> Click "Clear Forms" and "Clear Passwords".

This will ensure that all personal information stored/accessed by you will be erased.

Deleting visited web sites has ben answered.
To delete the `search` entries, place cursor over search box,and enter the letter `A` a list of all `A` searches pops up, gently move cursor over first entry and press delete button for each entry, continue for each letter of the alphabet.
Hopes this helps.

Their are option in every browser to clear the sites stored and the searches performed. Try to find the options or preferences of the browser and in their go to privacy. Their you will find the option to clear all the data saved. And also the option whether to keep the visited site in memory or not. Same with the search forums.

I think the others have answerd your question :)

There is an alternative of clearing the History in Internet Explorer and that is by clicking on the History button and then right clicking the folder and clicking delete.

For all those who did not know :)

Go to options and then scroll down to clear search history (it should be in a white rectangular box at the top of the home page with a magnifying glass in it.)
