I think they're kind of a funny thing, and I'm not sure why everyone is all up in arms about the question.
I've seen the shirts, and my only complaint is that I think they could have done a better job on the design. But they're a cute idea, especially given the huge number of Jewish baseball fans in New York. At least those fans have a better sense of humor, and can laugh at themselves, more than a lot of people on this site!

I'd rather see a "Jews for Jeter" t-shirt than a "Jews for Jesus" shirt.
The first is a group I would be happy to join for drinks, baseball and a nosh. The other group have their heads so far up ther collective tuchai, it isn't even funny.
(gee, if you can't tell... I'm a member of the tribe, a red sea pedestrian, etc.)

Haha, that's pretty funny stuff. It's about time somebody did something to mock those lame "Jews for Jesus."
Its hysterical, an organization deticated to dressing Christianity up in a yarmulka and sideburns and telling people it's okay to be a Jew.... -AND- believe in the New Testament.
And maybe D.J. can hang one of those t-shirts over his mantle.... because he's not getting an MVP trophy this year. Even though, maybe, he should.

The shirt is a parody on "Jews for Jesus" a missionary org. to convert Jews under the cloak of pretending to be Jews as well.
