Most faucets have a screen or aerator right at the outlet. This can get clogged or corroded, blocking water flow. If you have good water pressure elsewhere in the house, chances are it is blocked.

Generally, you can get at it by unscrewing the end of the spigot - you should see some sort of a seam.

The screen or aerator can either be cleaned or replaced, depending on the problem with it.

This is something you can do yourself with a pair of pliers - sometimes you can turn it with your fingers. Be careful not to damage the finish of the faucet.

Hopefully you've checked that there aren't leaks anywhere causing a reduction in your water pressure. If you did work on the sink recently could you have not turned the valves back on enough?

Lastly - depending on how old the sink is, you may just have a clogged filter. You ought to be able to hand turn the metal ring at the end of the faucet, be very careful so that you don't mess up the threads holding it on. If you can't get it off by hand, use a wrench, but put a cloth around the part to keep from dinging the metal. Gently work the ring loose and then carefully take off paying attention to how the parts are put together. Empty any silt out into the trash can, then flush the filter with water to clean as much as possible. Reassemble the parts and gently screw them back on - get tight but do not over-tighten.

I hope that helps.

If you have galvanized pipes in an older home they could be corroded inside blocking the water passage - in which case they will need replacement. But more than likely it is the screen in the faucet.

unscrew the bottom of the spigot so that it comes off.
it is probably clogged up with gunk. clean it out with CLR or something like that, you might even think about soaking it in vinegar for a couple of minutes.

screw it back on.

done

You may need to reem it out with a "snake". If ou have water on somewhere else, it may cause a pressure drop. My friends water pressure drops drastically when her swamp cooler is on.

Check your aerator. That's the screen at the end of your faucet that easily screw off and on. It could be plugged.

you might not have copper or PVC pipes old galvanized pipes corrode from the inside which would require replacing them.
