I keep getting this low disk space notification pointing to the hp_recovery partition. Tried the disk cleanup but there's no memory left to free up. For a capacity of 6.23GB, only 32.3MB is free. Cant modify this partition as it contains the recovery info and is protected. Help me out guys. Thanks!

First, try bearing off a lot of your saved files which don't need to be there. Use Disk Cleanup (Start - Programs - Accessories - Sytem Tools - Disk Cleanup) to delete any extraneous files and cookies. Empty the Recycle bin, reboot. Run Disk Defrag, too.
Then set a new restore point.
