I'd like him and other psychics to do so with their 'remote' abilities, and just maybe finalise the arguments about this through what would be a very worthwile demonstration.

Because Uri Geller is a "Magician" in terms of entertainment and circus business. They just "trick us" for our enjoyment.
Behind is experience, dexterity and psychology, but absolutely nothing scientific.
All these so call deviners devine... nothing, once they are put in a laboratory environment.
NEVER has a pendulum moved over a map when the hand that holds it is fixed somehow.
NEVER has a "Y" branch of a water deviner has moved if the expert is prenvented from knowing IN ADVANCE where the underground water was...
ETC etc etc etc

Personally I think Uri Geller is the most accomplished magician around, he has almost all the people in the world fooled.
If he could do it, it would already be done, don't you think?

He can't deliberately use his ablilities... even if he thinks he can... they are gifts afforded at the time and choosing of a higher power.
