u can hav a hub that has many ports or u can have more than one ethernet cards in one of the systems and share the internet along with files with other system!

Yes, you need a phone line for your DSL connection unless your DSL is provided via wireless solutions by your ISP. Like my DLS is provided over wireless means.

Assuming you already have an ISP and just need to set up the DSL you should by now have:

1. an ISP with a phone line that is provisioned for DSL
2. a DSL modem/router with all cables and adapters
3. a computer that has a network adapter

Make sure your stuff is hooked up properly and that the DSL light on your modem is green. So just pop in the cd and run it and you can set up a user id. (In truth you don't really need to run the cd but it's easier to let it run and it will set up your modem and UID for you.)

Yes, you use your land line connection. It uses a higher frequency than regular analog voice communication so it doesn't tie up your phone line.
