'Median' is the term for the number that half the values fall above and half below. 'Mean' is average. Add up the temperatures (I'm assuming one per day) and divide by the number of days in the month. That's your mean.

Add all the temperatures together then divide by the number of days..
Ex: 21 22 30 34 = 107 divide by 4 = 26.75

The mean is the midpoint number of a set of numbers. The number where half the values fall above it, and half fall below it. It is NOT the average, although the 2 numbers could coincidently be the same.
So plot all your numbers in a number line, and fingure out which number is half-way between all plotted. That is the mean.

Take the temperature every day of the month and then find the average. I am just just assuming though.
