Taking a break from my kangaroo and crocodile farm. I was wondering, what do you mates think of your President, George W. Bush? Any strong opinions one way or the other?

SPLATT - very insulting allegation by you. I have scars from my battle with a great white shark to prove I'm from Down Under. No hard feelings though. Let me buy you an ice cold Foster's.

My strong opinion is that you are about as Aussie as an Eskimo Pie.

Actually, you're Violet...who was pretendiing to be Chinese the other day. Not attacking, just pointiing out. Doesn't change the validity of the question...and you've gotten some good responses...but I don't understand why you have to pretend to be someone else in order to ask the question.

To answer the question directly: I think he's doing as good a job as possible considering the hatred that is being perpetrated by some "extremists". Congress, both the Republicans and Democrats, is responsible for the majority of problems that we are experiencing right now. Vote Libertarian in November.

I support the President in his actions especially with the fight against terror. I believe him when he says we must stay the course, just looking at what happened last time we pulled out and left those people. I am a huge military supporter as I work for the Army. The media is not reporting the whole story and the majority of our troops are re-enlisting and volunteering to go back over.

I don't believe in all of his policies however, I am very moderate to his conservative base. But the war, welfare, taxes, immigration...I'm right there with him!

because of the fact individuals interior the U. S. are growing to be to be ignorant and self obsessed morons, and basically selfishly basically think of approximately themselves. they do no longer care or provide a rattling, or maybe go so a procedures as helping human rights violations in the direction of different individuals. to totally loose their equivalent human, civil and diplomatic rights and freedoms from all kinds of discrimination. yet while their own own rights and freedoms are threatened of being violated, it truly is an atrocious crime. the finished finished international, see this 'each' single (bleeping) time without fail. on each occasion any human rights senate bill is handed interior the U. S.. to offer all individuals yet another one step forward in procuring equivalent human rights and freedoms. it truly is often contested in kangaroo courts utilising hundreds of thousands and thousands human beings tax funds to be pushed ten steps back. So all ignorant self obsessed American morons who won't be in a position to end themselves from discriminating and violating different individuals rights and freedoms, can dance on the streets like neanderthals, chanting u . s . a . u . s . a .. on the top of the day, somebody is getting very wealthy from this repeated stupidity, inflicting individuals and their society to stay enclaved and divided. at the same time as their society infrastructure suffers and crumbles.

I voted for him twice. He does what he thinks is right and he doesn't need "world approval" to act. I give him credit for "re-inventing" our intelligence departments, creating the Homeland Security Dept, and for keeping Americans safe from terrorism since 9/11.

He's had some fallout with the immigration issue, gets absolutely no support from the major media and is constantly attacked by partisan "Demohacks" but I can't IMAGINE what kind of mess we'd have had with Gore or Kerry...

He realizes that America has to go it alone when something must be done- thanks for being our ally down under. That Bali bombing was horrible, you picked a better place to vacation.

Well, Bob....I can't stand George W. I didn't vote for him and I will be very glad when he's out of office. I think he's an absolute lunatic and he makes me very scared. The only thing I've supported since he's been in office is our troops who are doing their best for our country in spite of the poor decisions made by our Commander-in-Chief.

Welcome, Bob!

You'll find that Americans feel strongly about politics and religion, and each and every one of us is right, and prepared to break each other's noses to prove it.

Personally, I'll punch anyone in the nose who suggests that Bush planned the 9-11 attacks on NY and the Pentagon.

I hope you enjoy your visit!

Bush is great! A strong dedicated man.

(Just because there are some loud mouth Bush Haters on here, don't get the wrong idea. They hate everything except their welfare checks.)

Well, his approval rating is right around 40%...so about 60% of the country doesn't like the way he runs our country. I am right along with that 60%. Hope you enjoy your stay.

A good man in bad times , he has shown a strenth of purpose and resolve that would not be obvious in good times .
I can think of several politicians who would have folded by now , if they'd been in office .
