These would have to be two different books: one about object oriented programming and one about j2ee.

to learn object orienbted programming, see "Structure and Interpretation of Computer Programs" ( http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0262011530 ). There is also a free version on the web: http://mitpress.mit.edu/sicp/ .

to learn object oriented programming in java, i recommend bruce eckel: thinking in java ( http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0131872486/sr=1-1/qid=1156770786/ref=sr_1_1/102-6442659-5681759?ie=UTF8&s=books )

and then read "Refactoring" ( http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0201633612/sr=1-1/qid=1156771017/ref=pd_bbs_1/102-6442659-5681759?ie=UTF8&s=books ) and "Design Patterns" ( http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0201633612/sr=1-1/qid=1156771017/ref=pd_bbs_1/102-6442659-5681759?ie=UTF8&s=books )

for j2ee, a good book is http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0130648841/102-6442659-5681759?v=glance&n=283155
