Does every mobo that supports a sata harddisk also supports the old ide harddisk?

My mobo is a MSI 945P Neo. I wanna put a sata harddisk and an ide harddisk together in a cpu. I could find the 4 pin cable from the psu to the harddisk but I can't find the long yellow slot for the harddisk from the mobo.

They usually do, because CD/DVD drives still mostly use PATA IDE. You should be fine, but when you buy a new motherboard, just check to be sure.

Pata is also known as IDE, look for that when buying a motherboard to handle both.
