if it is for gaming purpose buy an assembled pc
if you buy a branded pc you cannot upgrade more than what you can upgrade in an asssembled pc
if it is for office purpose the many problems wil occur,so if u buy the branded pc the company hardware enggs will give service freely for a limited period of time as per warranty
for every six months we get a new version of a hardware devices so better you go for a highly upgraded version assembled system
its not that only assembled pc is better but it also depends on the configuration and price also
in branded pc's ....you get good synchronization between motherboard processor and ram
the price of branded pc's will be high for particular reason.
you got to have good knowledge in configuring

Branded is more expensive then assembled. But branded offer better after sales service such as warranty for up to three years

if u want it for school or collage purpose you can go for branded ones. but if it is to be used for commercial purpose and needs some hardware or you hav sum special requirement then go for the assembeled ones. You can also go for assembeled ones for collages but in that case make sure that you have atleast good configuration.
