Last week It just started not letting me open internet explorer, or my yahoo mail, from my start menu, or my desktop. I have to go into" my comp." then to" favorites" to get my mail or to go anywhere else from there. Anyonyone have any idea what could have happened to cause this? Thanks

If you insist on using IE, you need protection. I'm a fan of AdAware - a free software, as well as Spybot Search & Destroy, and Hijak This. Ad Aware will find spyware and tracking codes and deletes them, Spybot helps prevent unknown software installing into your registry (it asks you if you want to allow or deny changes), and HijakThis works to fix any browser 'hijacks'. As someone who works on the internet all day, every day, these programs have definitely come in handy - especially when people come along and use my computer for non-work related things and start downloading viruses and such.

I feel for you.... I have the same problems... I guess we could go elsewhere and get another browser installed if Yahoo and Ie aren't goin to help us out.!!!!!!
