You can pick up a police scanner from Radio Shack for I think about $20 or somethin' like that and it also comes with a cd that you can download onto your computer and it'll give you tons of freq. for your scanner. What State is Butte county in and I'll see what I can find for ya. Theres this one website that was really good that had all the states broken down into cities and stuff, but I lost the website address. Or are you asking how do you obtain their radio frequency? Example police are 103.23 and fire is 105.67?

radio shack has the codes, You just have to ask them for it.
