Simply put, yes. But it tends to be less of an obsession with girls. And it tends to be more secret: society has long since taught girls to repress those natural instincts, and even to feel ashamed of them. It's not "ladylike". This is slowly changing as people are realizing that masturbation is a normal and healthy part of development, but it's slow going!
Girls tend to look at less porn than guys. For one, most porn is very woman-debasing, and that's not the sort of thing most girls find erotic. Also, girls are less aroused by images than men, for the most part. Exceptions to every rule, of course - and these are very loose rules. But the main problem with porn and girls is what I said first - there isn't a whole lot of porn out there that appeals to women. We tend to be aroused more by the idea of love than just sex.

Some do and some don't. I think that a lot of women stop when they're in a sexual relationship. Then again, I'm just going by what I've noticed in my friends. I'm sure that there's plenty of women who masturbate regularly whether or not they're in any kind of relationship. (As well as some who don't masturbate at all.) I don't, (anymore) simply because I lost interest in it. It had nothing to do with me feeling guilty or dirty from doing it. So, to give you a simple answer to your question, yes. Girls do masturbate.

actually they do, and its healthy and normal. It allows u to know what u like best that way when your with someone else you know exactly what makes u tick. Many women go their whole lives without ever knowing what they prefer they just base it on their relationships, get to know yourself believe me you'll see what i mean! If it takes porn then use it, get a toy, practice practice practice, the women i hang with are not shy, when a guy knows u can do it better than him then theres some compitition!

yes most girls do and they are probably lying to you if they tell you they dont because they think it's "unnatural and dirty" or that they arent "that type of girl" because to say that they arent that type of girl is to say that they arent sexual beings which is a load of crap. I'm gonna go ahead and say that most humans (both male and female) masturbate to some extent...girls are just more private about it because society has made it taboo for a girl to do it...but honestly, most probably do and i hate girls that say they dont trying to be "holier than thou."

Yep girls do it too (not me) but my best friend explains to me in detail how she does it and even talks about the porn she watches. remind me not to shake her hand....
