what's the best way to avoid varicose veins?

i heard that wearing high-heeled shoes most of the time could cause varicose veins...

what's the best way to prevent that from happening?

note: i don't have varicose veins yet, but i want to avoid having any... so please, any suggestions?

try to get out of the habit of ccrossing your legs. The cutting off of circulation can also contribute to varicose veins.

My 19 year old sis has a few baby spider veins. She stands all day in her job as a fashion retailer.

If you are on your feet alot, get some insoles or gel pads to help cushion your tootsies.

I've been wearing heels for years as have my mother and neither of us have experienced vericose veins but that's not to say that you won't. From my friends experience, they say that pregnancy is the worst culprit. Good luck!

I find that women who look really sexy in high-heeled shoes also tend to spend some time with their feet in the air... So it all evens out...
