Most RPG's are like this. Now that you can play RPG's online it'll be hard to step out of character for some gamers.

Really Depends on the person. If you are playing alone, and by that I mean not playing with a bunch of friends, you will level in the game at your own progress, but if you have some friends like I do that have no life nor a job, its hard to keep up and when doing that you actaullly loose the "fun" of the game. So now I play maybe once or twice a week, and the good thing is when you "logout" of the game in a Inn, you get rested XP which is good, because everything you kill you get double the experence as normal.. so its actually kinda of nice to get some sort of bonus for not playing the same non stop. As far as it being addicting, that depends on the person.. you have to stay active in your personal life as well. Make sure you still have a life b/c these games can and will take yours away from you. And try to go out side do something active, you will be amazed on how you can turn into a zombie and gain weight for what ever it might be. I suggest you stay away from MMORPGS all together b/c like the girl up top said, there is no end.

Good luck and if you do get into WoW enjoy it, but remember its a game and make sure you still live your life, thats go's for anyone from 10years old to 60 years old... live your life b/c there no reset button for real life.

Really, MMORPGs can take hold of your life and squeeze every bit of free time you have out. The main reason is, unlike other games like Dungron Siegem or even Warcraft 3, there is no end. You can max the level of a charactor, but then you have so many other options of alts that you can go on and on and on. I don't play WOW...yet. I'm jacked in to CoH and EQ2 and yes, VERY addcitive....
