It's only about 10 kilometers away. You can easily get a shuttle bus to your hotel. A taxi will cost you about 15 Euro. The buses cost 1.30 and are easy to figure out by the signs posted outside.

Nice has a wide bay. The airport is at one end of the bay, and the old town at the other. To walk it would take at least 1hr 45 mins. Its certainly a taxi or bus ride away, both of which are easily available at the airport. The seafront walk from the Radisson SAS is actually really nice but be warned that there isnt much life at the airport end of town. If you stay, try and stay at the old town end and certainly no further toward the airport than the Radisson.

Waaaa so many mistakes said ! The old town is a about 5 miles and you can reach it within 20 minutes with a taxi. The shuttle isn't 1.3€ but more (3 or 4€ I'd say). Have fun there !

its not very far, if you get a train from the airport to Nice step outside and you are pretty much there, try getting a map of www.mappy.com
