You can be refused service at anytime and for any reason - as long as you are not being discriminated.

A publican has the right to eject anyone he thinks will create problems for his pub or his customers. Very often the pub will also be the publican's house, and he has the right to protect that as well. If talking about drugs and politics indicates to the publican that he might be visited by some people with far from pleasant intentions, he is quite able to do what he can to ensure that they do not find a welcome in the premises. (Ladies, forgive the shorthand here, I know there are landladies as well).

Not unless you are in the pub doing drug deals with members of parliament!
I used to be a barmaid for a chain of pubs and it was in the rules that we were not allowed to talk about religion and politics with the customers.

Any establishment, such as a pub or bar, can reserve the right for whom it serves. Thus, they can ask you to leave, and do not have to supply a reason. If the owner of the establishment does not like a particular tone or direction of your conversation, they could of course ask you to find another pub in which to continue your discussion.

It is up to the pub's owner on who stays and who goes and for what reasons.
If you are causing a disturbance, by talking about either, in the pub and the regulars are getting upset you can bet you're gone.

The pub has the right to refuse service to anyone at any time for any reason they see fit. It is private property and they have the right ask you to leave at anytime. Refusal to leave can lead to arrest for criminal tresspass. Whatever you do don't try to fight the bouncer, even if you think you can take him one on one he has a slew of regular customers and coworkers, you won't win and risk landing in the hospital or jail.

it depends on what sort of landlord you have, if he's a complete tw*t then yes. But hes not a very good business man, getting rid of his customers because he doesn't like what they talk about, Spend your money somewhere else and don't give him a second thought

You would be thrown out for being drunk and creating a public disturbance; not for what you said.
