Wear something nice, professional (casual dressy, you know?). Just try to be yourself, in a relaxed friendly sort of way. Smile, make eye-contact (a tough one for me). Appear confident by standing/sitting up straight. Think of some questions you might have about the position, and bring a notebook along with them written down, and jot quick notes down as they're answered (I usually ask about benefits, vacation maybe, is there a trial period before these things kick in, dress code, etc.)

For the "faults" question, try to make your faults sound advantagous to the company. Like, "I tend to be overly organized at home. It gets on my family's nerves, but I like things in their place - then you can find them when you need them, you know?" But don't lie! Think about some "faults" that might help you, or at least won't ruin your chances for the job.

One more tip, send a "Thank You" note for the interview. You should be able to check out some resume or interview books at the library which can give you tips (or search the internet). Even if you don't think it went well, send one anyway. They may remember you next time something opens up, and it just makes you look professional.

Good luck! Hope it goes well for you!

SMILE - look interested, like you want to be there

LISTEN - to the interviewer. Most of the time they tell you what they are looking for and you can then adjust what you say.

SHORT - Keep your answers short and to the point. Many people ramble on - keep your answers short and to the point.

PREPARE - write down the 3-5 best things about you from the employer's point of view. Use this list as the basis for any answer to any question.

Be prepared to be questioned about your computer skills (they would like to probably know your MS Office, copying, faxing, and mailing skills)

Don't wear too strong a scent for your interview because the person may not like/or is allergic to it. I'd just stick with soap and lotion if you want something.

Don't wear flashy jewelry. A simple watch and a pair of ball earrings will do.

Be prepared for them to ask about your last job (if you had one).

Don't be afraid to mention any specialize skills such as a second language. (like if they ask about your education, you can slip that in)

There are many things one can do. Here is a link to the Monster's Job tips if you want more information.

xmissamerica,
that u r invited for the interview means they think u can fit the position,
so with that confidence approach the interview,
borrow some humility but present ur assurance of ur capability.
be smart looking and put on some office type perfume.
smile and be urself.
their questions will most deal with public relations, how u handle clients stuff like that
all the best.

Depends on what kind of experience you have. Be confident and make eye contact. They'll probably ask for long term goals. be ready for that. And faults, hmm, well, just be honest. Most times they just want to see if you lie or tell the truth. Make sure you are CONFIDENT AND SMILE. good luck. IM me and let me know how you did, i'm really curious and wish you all the luck

Your faults are things like you have a tendency to be a perfectionist. You don't believe in doing things part way and you can't stand it when things are not put in there proper place.
Be professional and don't talk about your personal life.
Don't over due the makeup or perfume.
Good Luck.

Be yourself and be honest. That's what they really want to hear...
