I am a fan of the Joss Whedon's Firefly tv series. I enjoyed the movie immensely.
That said....author Michmak is one of the most potent authors of any fanfiction I have ever read.
She writes CSI and Harry Potter stories...but her Firefly stories have taken my heart in the most quiet and unassuming ways.
She goes straight to the heart of her characters...never makes a false move...and I forget while I am reading that Joss Whedon and not she...is the creator of these characters...
"Expert" is the first installment of "The Little Things" series...and story by story Michmak takes you into the inner world of Jayne and River Tam...for that is where her emphasis lies...but her takes on the other characters is breathtaking...especially when she meanders over to deal with Mal and Inora with some heart stopping insights into the sexual tension between those two.
Michmak's writing evokes a depth of emotional response from me that no author has wrung from me in eons. Shock...gales of laughter...my heart stuck like a knot in my throat...these things and more I experience...as I read her work.
She knows her characters inside out...she knows their hearts...the intimate depths of their inner worlds...and she does so using the plainest of words...totally unassuming...weaving a spell with each installment that only gradually becomes apparent as I move through the saga...
Michmak's work is such that at times I cannot distinguish between what she has written and what has actually taken place in Joss Whedon's Firefly....
And some she has written...I prefer to that which Joss has done.

The best fanfiction I've ever read was THE MEANING OF LOVE by little wolf lover.... Most of my friends and classmates love this fanfiction as well. The characters are li shaoran, sakura kinomoto, tomoyo daidouji, and eriol hiirazigawa...
The story is quite long but you would never regret that you read the fanfic.... The fanfic is worth reading...

I don't know, but I'm making my own fanfiction. It's about this Naruto character i made name Sian Hatake. She falls in love with Kiba. She has Sharingan....but I'm sorry I might tell the ending and I don't want to. :D

valentine's day and forgotten love by aitashiaku-kawaiisasusakuai. it's all about Sasuke and Sakura of the anime Naruto. I just love those fanfics!! they inspire me to write my own fanfics too about my favorite couple. All of her fanfics are about the love story of Sasuke and Sakura.
