It's the Serenity Prayer, which I think is used at the start of AA meetings, but I think it's sentiments are ones that everyone could take something from.

Ask yourself - "Do I really want to wake up one morning on a park bench covered in vomit and wearing piss soaked trousers, with family and friends ignoring me"? that should help you decide.

Think of everything from losing your home, getting arrested and dying then it hasn't happened YET.I am in AA and one guy from our group went and got drunk threw up and got the puke in his lungs and died. His mother found him in her driveway dead behind the wheel of his truck. Pretty gross way to die. He was very young so say, "It hasn't happened..........yet''.
