I know this sounds silly but i remembered watcing a video in 11th grade physics about a cat that was purring really loudly in the middle of a bridge and it caused the bridge to start swaying... any idea?

I have not heard of that myth. However, I have heard of marching armies whose timed footsteps matched with the bridge's natural frequency. This caused the bridge to sway and buckle, and finally fail. However, I'm not sure if that myth is even true.

If a bridge can handle large vehicles driving over it, one cat is not going to get it moving.

Ares IV scenario was on Mythbusters. Why don't send it to Mythbusters? It might make a cute show. Give Buster a break.

Was that bridge made out of cardboard?

That defies all scientific credibility!

The cat would have to be from the planet Krypton to have that kind of power!
