My phone model is SAMSUNG SGH-D410 with internet acces through VODAPHONE WAP in the Czech Republic. I would really like to have this alert signal on my mobile each time i have a mail.

Yes it can alert you. You need to look in the users manual or online at the Samsung model phone you have, the manufacturer should have a PDF download that will give you directions to set the alert up. Good luck.

In Yahoo mail Beta account this is the place to set up mobile phone alerts. But you will be charged per SMS.
options > Setup SMS Mail Alerts

If your e-mail account has that feature you only have to activate it and you'll get an alert when you receive an e-mail. Check under Options in your e-mail account.

If your e-mail account does not have this feature I don't think you can get an alert.

if you have a yahoo account you can receive a text message everytime you get an email but it costs around 10p.
