First of all the owner is the land lord not a rentee. Think of it this way. Any word used in the context of real estate ending with an "or" means the giver and any word ending with "ee" is the recipient. There are certain items that a landlord can not use to refuse a tenant tenancy, that I am aware of occupation other than illegal and or hazardous is not one of them. But you should simply look to see what the law in your state says.

The rentee has the right to refuse to rent to anyone they think will not take the best care of their property and make payments on time. That's really their only concern.

If you are the person renting the property and you don't approve of the occupation of the PROPERTY OWNER, why are you asking about renting the place? Did you sign a lease? If so, you are legally obligated to abide by that lease.

Not sure but here is where you can find a copy of the Kentucky "Uniform Residential Landlord and Tenant Act."

If there is no rental agreement, then that person isn't a renter. End of story.

My best guess is only if the "occupation" is illegal.
Prostitution would be considered illegal.
