We are self centered because befor we get married we were use to doing our own thing and when we wanted to. Once you involve a women who has the all or nothing personallity .It just messes everything up and that is why men are that way they just want their space dont worry we wont cheat on you we just want a lil free time to work on something . hope this helps you understand!

Just because you think he doesn't listen doesn't make him self centered. When he starts to think only about his needs and not yours,then you could say that. And if this is the case,move on,find yourself someone else that cares about your needs as well as his own.

Allot of men are raised to be that way. It's also a proved fact that it's not that he doesn't listen to you, it's that your voice really is music to his ears. Men use the same part of their brain to listen to women that they use to listen to music. They use the part of the brain dedicated to memory when listening to other men. So he hears that your talking, he's just not listening to the words. Your voice is a nice tune to him. You might have to make sure he is focused on you. And not listening to you while in another room.
