Go to the teacher with reasons why you believe you deserve a better grade. Time and effort do not count. Did you make valid points that were overlooked? Did you do a through job? Ask your teacher what would have made the grade higher so that you may incorporate those ideas in your next project.

Just ask the teacher for the reason he marked your assignment so low.

If you wrote the test the way you wrote this question I would think you deserved the score you received. Read what you said above and see if it is written properly. If you feel strongly about the score then ask for a review and explanation. If the teacher is responsible then she/he should not mind doing this. Do not get too emotional.

Be honest, that's the only way your going to get real feedback. Either you have a good teacher who is going to explain what is missing and sometimes its not the work itself it's the grammer and spelling that will kill you. Or you have a jerk who doesn't really care how hard you worked on it and doesn't help you improve, in which case you can get your parents involved, then your teacher will listen, they hate having to do extra work. ha.

I thought I did really well on this assignment. Can you please show me the areas that you deducted points for, and what could of been done on this assignment to make it better.
If you are aware of where you went wrong or the weak points then you are less likely to repeat the mistakes but to learn from them.

one thing that i have learnt in my experience and that is you never tell you rteacher that his marking is unfair
you get into BIG time trouble if you do...
u go to him, tell him to show you how u can improve
or
if there is any highlighted mistake, ask him, (INNOCENTLY) how so sir???
remember to keep a pretty good "puppy face"
teachers hate being patronized
so be careful
best o luck

Try harder on the next one all she is doing is seeing what kind of student you are.
If you complain about your grade she could lower it but if you show her what you really can do you may fair better next time.
And you may be surprise at her response.
Good luck dear don't give up

I wouldn't really do that, but if I did I would ask if I could do any extra credit.
