i need to copy the contents of the cd . but the guy who gave me this by mistake put it in ' read - only ' format . hence i can't copy it .
plz tell me what to do . itz very urgent

Get ISO Buster and try to "recover" the files with it.

It really depend on the content!
If its like word documents or such you can simply open it and then chose file->save as and save it to your desktop (just save it as a slightly different name).
Alternatively, if you have 2 drives, you could clone the CD - or even burn an image to your PC.

try to copy the contents by selecting them and paste on an another file on u'r system

copy paste it from the cd and then rightclick it and select properties and unselect the read-only thing...

While editing it save it in ur system
