Here, in Finland some minorities, such as the Swedish-Finns, the Sami, and the Gypsies have special rules/rights about education, and social services.
Swedish Finns have the right to education and service everywhere (everything from street signs to hospitals) in Swedish. Sami have the right to speak their native language in courts and sign contracts with it. Gypsies don't have to go to school if they don't want to (and get money for wearing traditional dresses). The largest minority is the Swedish Finns who comprise 6% of the population.
Now, the question is, should minorities in the US get the same treatment? State political persuasion also, please.

Of course, these are persistent minorities that have been in Finland a long time, I'll grant you. But should it really matter how long they have been there?
If you argue that there are too many minorities, why not start with the largest? Or do them state wise?

Yet, these quotas serve the ensure that there are skilled people in jobs/studying for them to take care of the minority their are from.
For example, since this is a socialist democracy, there's a certain quota for Swedish-Finns to become doctors... Which makes sense because Swedish Finns have the right to doctors that speak Swedish, or who will work in Swedish speaking towns, or even the Swedish-Speaking military.
Is it right? Well, it's debatable.

Here in America we have been forced into the reality, that our freedom's in general are being stripped from us.At the moment we have the most greedy, careless politicians in office.Men that are very careless and ignorant to the true world around them. All they think about is money and war,and war to make more money. It's quite grotesque.Since war is their to priority, their is little chance, that any money if all, will be directed towards health care and social services, like the ones you mentioned.Hopefully soon,my generation will step up to the plate and realize there are way to many poor, sick and homeless people in it's own country.I hope you can now see what I am have to deal with everyday inside this worlds, carefree, slash throat,superpower...Take care...tom science

They do ! There are a amazing amount of laws that have been passed to asure that all minorities get equal (or better some colleges will have to import minorities while non minorities wont be able to go but the government has a quota on how many minorities they have to have and hey will import to meet that quota) housing , Jobs, education, medical care, etc. there are all kinds of progrms for the poor. Homeless and treatment centers for anyone with drug or alcohol dependency's and free legal help (sometimes costing in the millions of dollars) for anyone that can't afford it doesn't matter race , religion or color. There are some towns that you go to where almost all the street signs are in Spanish like El Paso and other parts of Texas .

Blacks get affirmative action, which means even if they are least qualified for a position, they get it because of their race. Also EoE
laws apply to rental and housing purchasing, and a myriad of social services which many live their entire lives on, and pass down the info through generations.
Hispanics get court interpreters in most states, or their case is dismissed. Free.
There are literally hundreds of programs aimed at immigrants and minorities.
Most products have English and Spanish interpretations on the labels, and many have a few languages.
So yes, they do get special treatment. Some groups want special treatment too, some based on weather they have sex with their own gender.
My persuasion is Independent, which means I will hear the agendas of the various people running for office, (at least as much information as is given), weigh in on their sincerity, (sorting out the lies, or what they are 'not' saying), as best I can before voting for them, rather than follow anyone blindly.

Here in the United States our governmental actions are all suppose to be guided by the powers delegated within the Constitution of the United States. In that context all citizens are suppose to be equal in the eyes of the law. From another perspective, all citizen minorities, that is the individual, are to be treated equal in the context of the law.
Through the years that Constitution has been amended to expand that franchise to ensure the inclusion of minorities not addressed in original application of the Constitution. Such as the illemination slavery and women voting.
Those efforts of law enactment (as opposed to Constitutional Amendment) which have focused on specific minorities are extra-constitutional and eventually harm the minorities they are attempting to aid.

People, regardless of race, color, creed and what not, should have all rights that make treating a HUMAN BEING in a decent manner possible. As long as we have racism, religious fanatics, rich and poor and celebrities, then no person in any country of our planet will have the rights that are due to us. And I mean us, not in a minority way, but as a person, because even the white people are not liked in some places, some European countries for example.

It's supposed to be completely equal but it's not. There is something called Affirmative Action which reinforces the differences between races. It's complete BS, and goes against the old motto, 'the best man for the job.' Now it's 'the best minority for the job.'

Minorities already get special rights in the US.
They get special treatment for promotion, government jobs, and college.
Minority Rights means discrimination against the majority.
If one person gets "extra" rights, it means that someone else has lost some.
