Take a bowl or a bucket, pour hot water, add some sea salt and stick your legs in there for about 10-15min. Should feel the difference within a couple of days. Tried it myself, really works!

If you take the serious answers below, they talk about shoes and weight. One thing to consider is where the pain is in your heels and get a gel heel cushion that takes the pressure off where you experience pain. Bone spurs can occur at the very back of the heel, along the side and at the medial calcaneal tubercle (at the front of the heel where the arch starts on the side of the foot) When you get these, remember to wear a cushion under both heels or else you will do bad things to your back, hips etc.

there are several causes of that time of thing,
1. it may be your shoes. get comfortable shoes.
2. it may be your weight (this happened to me). lose some weight.
3. you might be stomping your feet while walking without you even knowing. walk lighter.
4. your heels are stressed. get a foot massage once in a while.
5. if all else fails, consult your doctor.
