He's a half jewish and half catholic guy who lived in the 15thcentury, and he wrote a whole lot of prophecies, his visions appear to span thousands of years. It was most likely complicated for him to interpret 20th and 21st century technology using 16th century French. He basically lacked the terminology.
But my ni@@a Nas's real name is Nasir just like my little bro and he just thought that it would be very idiological that he used a mixture of both names because he too is a visionary, ya feel me?
Ohh man I hate cut and pasters damn.

Nostradamus lived in France approximately 500 years ago. He began by studying medicine, but there is no record that he actually finished his medical training. While he was in school, the Black Plague broke out, and he went out treating plague vicitms. He was more successful than most, probably because he recommended burning the clothing and bedding of the infected. This got rid of the rats and the infestations they caused.
Even as good a doctor as he was, he could not stop the plague from taking his wife and only son. When this happened, he became interested in the occult. He soon began publishing his own almanac, and like most almanac writers of the time, made predictions. He became famous when one of his predictions came true, that in single combat, golden cage would be pierced and kill the king--the king was then killed in a jousting match when his opponent's weapon shattered, and a piece went through the king's visor and killed him.
The problem with Nostradamus's predictions is that they are written in obscure quattrains. They do not come out and say "This will happen on this date," so they can be interpreted to mean anything. He referred many times to an evil ruler of Hister. Of course, after WWII, everyone assumed this meant Hitler, even though Hister was the ancient name of the Rhine. Hitler also used Nostradamus' preditions to show that he and the Third Reich would succeed in WWII, and you see how well that went.

Nostradamus (December 14, 1503 – July 2, 1566), Latinized name of Michel de Nostredame, was one of the world's most famous publishers of prophecies. He is best known for his book Les Propheties, the first edition of which appeared in 1555.
Since the publication of this book, which has rarely been out of print since his death and has always been hugely popular across the world, Nostradamus has attracted an almost cult following. His many enthusiasts, to say nothing of the popular press, credit him with predicting numerous major world events. In contrast, most of the academic sources listed below maintain that the associations made between world events and Nostradamus' quatrains are largely the result of misinterpretations or mistranslations (sometimes deliberate) or else are so tenuous as to render them useless as evidence of any genuine predictive power. Moreover, none of the sources listed offers any evidence that anyone has ever succeeded in interpreting any of Nostradamus' quatrains specifically enough to allow a clear identification of any event in advance.
Nevertheless, interest in the work of this prominent figure of the French Renaissance is still considerable, especially in the media and in popular culture, and the prophecies have in some cases been assimilated to the results of applying the alleged Bible Code, as well as to other purported prophetic works.
some of his predictions were that this year, an important person would die, he predicted 9/11 also, and the armageddon, ending of men, this will happen in 7071 he predicts, so no need to worry, and the antichrist? he'll be born in 2035 and in 2070 he will become a leader

Born in the early 16th century, Nostradamus has become one of the world's most widely known and read prophets.
His poetic yet cryptic quatrains are claimed by some to conceal information about future events. He completed a total of 942 quatrains which he organized into Centuries - groups of 100 quatrains (one Century only had 42 quatrains).
Do these writings actually predict the death of popes, rise of tyrants, and natural catastrophes to come?
At the following source address you should be able to find out all you want to know including his biography.

l think he lived in France, around 16th centuary, around the time of the plague because his wife died from it. He was able to predict the future, most of his predictions have come true, he predicted everything from the French Revelution, both World Wars up to the end of the World. But he had to keep his "gift " secret because in those days this was unacceptable and believed to be witchcraft. Hope that helps a little, there is so much to tell, you should find a web site about him.

Nostadamus was a doctor in 16th century France. He also was born part Catholic, part Jewish. He wrote predictions called quatrains. It is said he is one of the greatest prophets of all time.
Problem is............he wrote his quatrains sometimes in jibberish. It was said that it was because of the times. He could have been killed if the public felt he was involved in any way in witchcraft. Many feel he actually did predict World wars 1&2.
Books on Nostradamus, and websites about him everywhere. Check it out!
