For 1 month I have noticed that when my wrist is bent and I am trying to pull, push, or lift weight with that hand there is A great amount of pain in the wrist. Just a few days ago i noticed a bump has formed on the top side of the wrist. This bump fells hard when the wrist is bent and soft when the hand is straight. There is no pain when the wrist or the bump are pressed on. What is causing the pain and / or the bump?

I had one in the same place, when I was about sixteen,...it is called a ganglion cyst...and they are almost always benign..meaning, not cancerous..I have had mine removed twice..because it got in my way and it didn't look nice...So, I am not sure if I spelled it right...but go to your doctor, it is like a calcium deposit..they told me it was from straining my hand too much at the joint, and being left handed, that might have been very well true, but that was fifty years ago..go ahead and talk to your doctor about getting it removed...the can grow bigger.Mine didn't look that big on the surface, but when the removed it, it had grown quite deep and was affecting the way i moved my hand. Good luck..but it usually isn't dangerous. just annoying.

I would say that this is a ganglion cyst. There has been damage to the joint capsule and joint fluid has formed a bleb outside the capsule. This is a sign of a repetitive stress injury and your workspace needs to be looked at with the view to stopping it from getting worse.
The treatment for the ganglion hasn't changed in some time. Take a family Bible and give the ganglion a good sound knock so that it goes away. (There is no magic in the Bible - I used a British Pharmacopia once.) It will hurt some, so be prepared for that. Give the wrist a chance to rest with a tensor bandage and icing it and you will be better.

It's cool if it's unique, but a lot of the time it's just something that's been done before. Or it's half a big gesture, like he tried to do something special to seem cool but was afraid to get too crazy. If you're going to do it, then do it all the way! Also, when it's a big promposal in front of a bunch of people, I imagine it would be a lot of pressure to say yes, which is unfair. Most importantly, it depends on the person your asking's personality. Would they really want to be asked the way that you're thinking of? If not, then don't do it - you're only thinking about yourself(trying to show off to other people). I personally would hate a public promposal, but a personal one away from other people might be nice. Don't go over the top if that person doesn't like over the top.

this is almost certainly a ganglion cyst, or a pooching out of the joint lining. It is like when you squeeze a balloon and a little bump forms.

Almost always surgery fixes this; not too many nonsurgical cures
