People can only repeat what they hear and learn, and that includes Tourettes sufferers. The shouting of obscenities is a very rare, but often misunderstood, symptom. Less than 10 percent of TS patients ever display this symptom and it is not a requirement for a diagnosis.

Sometimes TS patients do shout "normal" words. I personally think that that is a sign of OCD and a need to hear a certain sound spoken aloud.

I hope this helps and thanks for asking in such a polite manner.

They don't always shout words. The most common symptoms are barks, clicks and twitches. Nonsense syllables may be said by these people.
Such people do not normally receive treatment unless it is severe.
A much rarer form is the one where inappropriate words are said. This form usually gets treatment.

Most tourettes sufferers do not even have verbal tics.... but if they do have verbal tics they are often just sounds , not words at all.
